Dan L. Hendricks holds a Ph.D. from Duke University. He has served as Vice President or Vice Chancellor at the LSU Foundation, Western Illinois University, Purdue University and the University of North Alabama. At North Alabama and Western Illinois, he was Executive Director of their University Foundations.
Steve Jones, PhD, is CEO of Great Blue Heron, LLC, and former CEO of Fairmont State University, Antioch University New England, Urbana University and University of Alaska Fairbanks and former board chair at the University of the Arctic.
Greg Lein has been Director of the Alabama State Parks Division of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources since 2012. The Huntsville native attended Auburn University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Science in 1991 and a master’s degree in Fisheries Science in 1995.
Lauren Martinson is a graduate of Vanderbilt and has a Masters from the University of Georgia in Environmental Science and Historical Preservation. She has served as a Director of Marketing and Development for the Huntsville Symphony, Associate Director of the Volunteers Center of Huntsville, and Communications Director for the Huntsville- Madison County Library.
Alex McCrary is the Director of Federal Governmental and Corporate Affairs at Alabama Power Company. In his current role, Alex manages relationships with elected officials and external stakeholders throughout the state to assist the company in meeting its strategic goals.
Geoffrey A. McGovern was born March 23, 1948, in Boston, Mass. He was educated in Cleveland, Ohio, through elementary school, in Pittsburgh, through high school and Greencastle, Ind., through college.
Tommy Moore was born and raised in Tuscaloosa and received a B.S. degree in finance from the University of Alabama in 1962. He was a member of the Crimson Tide baseball team from 1958 to 1962.
Renee Rice is president and owner of R&R Travel in Oxford. She and her twin sister, Robbie Ginn – the company’s vice president and owner – celebrated 30 years in business in 2017. Renee is a lifetime Certified Travel Counselor, the youngest person in the nation to earn that designation.
Hilary Ross, Active in many charitable and non-profit organizations, Hilary served as a docent for the Birmingham Botanical Gardens which sparked her interest in nature. Returning to college when her children were in school, she earned a landscape design/horticulture degree through the Jefferson State Community College certificate program.
