Natalie Kelly leads Corporate Responsibility at Brasfield & Gorrie, one of the largest privately held construction firms in the nation. Her responsibilities focus on advancing sustainability and diversity initiatives within the company. A graduate of Auburn University, she has spent her career working in construction, the corporate sector, and as an entrepreneur.
Before joining Brasfield & Gorrie in October 2016, she founded and managed SUSTAIN Strategy & Media Group for six years; an agency committed to helping companies move sustainability forward. An active champion of healthy communities and environmental responsibility, she serves on nonprofit boards including the Freshwater Land Trust, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and Red Mountain Park. Natalie also founded and published local green living websites, MyGreenBirmingham.com and MyGreenMontgomery.com. She currently serves as the creator and facilitator of EMERGE, a sustainability leadership development program of the Green ResourceCenter for Alabama, designed to empower professionals and community leaders with the resources they need to advance sustainability within their networks.
Natalie resides in the heart of Birmingham and has been honored by her community for her work. She was recognized as one of the Birmingham Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 professionals and as a SMART honoree by the Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham. Natalie is also an alumnus of Leadership Birmingham and a member of the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham.
